Civil War Re-enactors
Saturday, March 13th
10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Visit with retired members of the 24th Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment in uniform, and hear stories about crucial battles and events that took place during the Civil War. This will be their final appearance here at the History Center for this season.

The Memory Makers Workshops as shown below are designed for children ages 4 to 8 accompanied with an adult. Suggested donation is $3 per child. Reservations are recommended to assure work space and materials.

Craft Quilt
Saturday, March 20th
10:30 am to 11:30 am 

Each child will create a "quilt" to take home. The East Iowa Heirloom Quilters will present the workshop. The group will begin by examining comtemporary and historic quilts. Children will then glue fabric in traditional quilt designs and learn quilting techniques.

Share Your Stories
Saturday, March 20th
2:00 to 3:00 pm 

Come to this class and bring your favorite story to share with others in the group. This is a non-critical, fun and enjoyable time with others who are also aspiring writers and storytellers. Come and see what it's all about.
