Epic Rebirth - A Celebration of Achievement

Two media outlets have captured the 2008 flood story from day one, and are now working together to host a community celebration for all to enjoy. The Gazette and KCRG-TV9 invite you to Epic Rebirth: A Celebration of Achievement, scheduled for June 13 from 4:30pm-8:00pm at Veterans Memorial Building in downtown Cedar Rapids. This event is free and open to the public. Day of Caring 2018

THANK YOU to the volunteers from Rinderknecht who came out to The History Center offices to clear out our storage. We are so appreciative! Day of Caring, organized by United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is a one-day service opportunity where over 1,300 volunteers from local company’s complete projects for non-profit agencies and community partners. This year is the 25th anniversary.

The History Center's signature fundraiser has a new name and a new location!
