Another Successful School Visit!

February 4, 2019

Education visitors is a large part of what we do at The History Center. And no day is more fun a hectic than when we have school visits.

Last week we had the excitement of hosting more than 80 3rd Graders from Prairie Ridge Elementary. the children take time to learn about artifacts from our curator, the history of their school and the county from our historian, take time to "quilt" to give them more insight on our Quilting Exhibit, and enjoy some free time exploring our wonderful exhibits.

While they certainly keep us busy, seeing our rich heritage being taught and passed on allows us to see our vision and mission continue.
