Linwood Cemetery - Walking Tour


Join us for a walking tour of Linwood Cemetery!

WHEN: Tuesday, September 10th

TIME: 6:00 p.m.

WHERE: Please meet at Murdoch Linwood Funeral Home (520 Wilson Ave SW) Experience the history of the oldest cemetery on the west side of Cedar Rapids. Highlights include visiting the final resting site of some of the infamous Cherry Sisters and a look at the memorial to the victims of the May 1919 Douglas Starch Works Explosion in Cedar Rapids. Tour starts and ends at the entrance to the cemetery behind the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home at 520 Wilson Avenue SW. Tickets may be purchased at time of the event. No advanced ticket purchases for this event. Members: $5 General: $7
