Take a bite out of local history with Chew on This, The History Center's engaging Lunch & Learn series. Each program explores a different topic from Linn County's rich and fascinating past—from remarkable people and historic neighborhoods to forgotten stories, legendary businesses, and the events that shaped our community.

Bring your own sack lunch, settle in, and enjoy an entertaining and informative presentation. We'll take care of dessert!

 

Can't make the lunchtime program? Join us for Chew on This After Dark, our evening edition featuring the same great history in a relaxed social setting. We'll provide light hors d'oeuvres, the bar will be open, and you'll have the perfect opportunity to enjoy local history with friends after work.
