Photo Reproduction

The History Center does allow for the reproduction of images and other pictures in its collection. To request a reproduction please fill out the form below and send it to curator@historycenter.org.

 

Please note, you must include an Object ID in your request. Browse our online collections to determine the Object ID.

Publication use applies to the use of a reproduction in print, film, video, or digital format. The fees are waived for use by the Iowa news media in television newscasts, radio or newspaper articles for those who have made prior arrangements with The History Center. The use fees listed below include research time and photograph duplication costs. These costs are subject to change.

All users purchasing prints for any reason must submit an application for permission to copy and/or use photographs.

All images whose copyright is not held by the Linn County Historical Society must seek permission for the creator of the work or from the current copyright holder. All material is subject to current copyright laws.

Requests for publication, reuse, or changes in use must be submitted in writing to the Linn County Historical Society’s curator for approval.

Fees are for one-time use, in one publication, in one language, and distribution only in North America. Worldwide distribution for one-time use in one or more languages is double the prices listed above. The same fees apply to subsequent editions.
