The Quest is the ultimate adventure that will take you on an unforgettable journey through the heart of Cedar Rapids! In this thrilling, team-based race, you'll uncover the hidden stories and fascinating history of the city, all while solving puzzles, performing challenges, and discovering exciting locations!

 

How It Works:

• Teams: Each team consists of up to four participants, ready to tackle clues, riddles, and challenges throughout Cedar Rapids.

• The Clues: You’ll receive a series of clues that will lead you to iconic locations around the city. But it won’t be easy! Along the way, you’ll need to complete fun games, solve tricky riddles, and immerse yourself in the history of Cedar Rapids.

• The Challenges: Each stop on The Quest will bring a unique challenge—whether it’s a puzzle, trivia, or a physical task that puts your teamwork and creativity to the test. Get ready to engage with the city in ways you’ve never experienced before!

• The Locations: The route will guide you to famous landmarks, hidden gems, and cultural hotspots across Cedar Rapids. Along the way, you’ll learn surprising and interesting facts about the history that shaped this great city.

 

The Goal:

The first team to successfully complete all the challenges, visit every designated location, and race back to The History Center will be crowned the Quest champions!

Rules:

• Up to 4 people per team

• At least one person on your team must have a valid drivers license

• Must have a vehicle to participate

• All team members must sign a waiver/release of liability

• Some stops require physical activity. Not all team members are required to participate in each physical challenge.  Each stop will indicate how many team members must complete the activity/challenge before receiving the next clue. 

• $40 per team (up to 4 team members)

• Teams MUST pre-register.  No onsite registration allowed.

• All teams will meet at The History Center to start the race.

• Check in will start at 8:30 a.m. Must be checked in by 9:00 a.m.

• A review of the rules will be read at 9:00 a.m.

• All teams will be given the “ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET, GO” to open their first clue.
